Bottas drives Mercedes W16 on 2026 Pirelli tyres in Mexico

Valtteri Bottas completed 112 laps in a Mercedes W16 fitted with 2026-spec Pirelli tyres at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, logging 693 km alongside team-mate Frederik Vesti. Stake Sauber’s Gabriel Bortoleto added 585 km on Tuesday, giving Pirelli 1 278 km of crucial data before the December 9 Abu Dhabi collective test that will lock in the narrower front and rear slick dimensions for the new-regulation era.
