Leclerc Admits Boredom Amid Ferrari’s Struggles
Following a difficult weekend with the SF-25’s lack of pace and handling issues, Leclerc found little on-track action and poor competitiveness, leaving him isolated on track.
Following the Title Battle from the Cockpit
With the car unable to compete for the podium, Leclerc turned his attention to the championship fight among the leading trio—Norris, Verstappen, and Piastri.
He spent significant time mentally calculating points and gaps using the screens available around the circuit, calling this the most exciting part of his race.
Ferrari’s Difficult Weekend at Lusail
The team struggled with high tyre pressures mandated by Pirelli, setup troubles, and persistent grip issues throughout the race weekend. Both Leclerc and teammate Lewis Hamilton failed to score meaningful points, with Leclerc finishing eighth and Hamilton completing the race down in 12th.
Looking Ahead to Abu Dhabi
Leclerc expressed hope that the team can find a more competitive setup for the season finale in Abu Dhabi. He acknowledged the frustration of the Qatar weekend and emphasized the need for Ferrari to improve drastically to avoid ending the season on a low note.
