FIA Enforces 25-Lap Max Stint for 2025 Qatar GP, Mandating Two-Stop Race
The 2025 F1 title fight has been dealt a strategic curveball. F1, the FIA, and Pirelli have announced that drivers will be restricted to a maximum stint of 25 laps on any tyre set during the Qatar Grand Prix as a « precautionary and safety measure, » effectively banning a one-stop race.
